I need a bit of randomness to get me out of this funk in my writing I'm in. Please, just PG-Rated, nothing sick or adult. Just anything that comes to mind. Also, for those who want to know, it is in this catagory because there was no other place for this question to fit in with.

I am taking a class from a very difficult teacher- In fact Im not sure I will be able to pass the class- I just wish he could see my other class grades- I have a 3.89 GPA total the past two years here at college. Sometimes hard work just doesnt equate to understanding things though. I participate in class and ask many questions when I go to office hours and I go to tutoring outside of class do all the extra credit etc- just like I do my other classes and I am pushing for this class but Im still doing horrible- becuase I just dont get it. Do teachers have access to your transcript grades in the university system? It seems like they wouldnt- as that would be a privacy issue.. I wish they could though...

I work for a district in New York that is ALL about the numbers! It doesn't matter how many kids take and fail the Advanced Placement exam... It just matters to them how many kids take the courses for some reason. The result is a bunch of ill-prepared, frustrated students taking a class that is develomentally inappropriate for them! What are your thoughts/ experiences?
