Has anyone else out there noticed that many people who engage in yahoo answers use horrific grammar, punctuation, spelling, or all of the above? I'm apalled!! It's so hard to read some of the crap for lack of grasp on the english language. Is it just me?

Please help me. This is for my case study.

I actually need to investigate on the differences in the communication styles of those into hip-hop music and others who prefer rock music.

What the prof suggests is a website that deals with the youth culture as a whole for me to "get the whole picture", so to speak. It'd be best if they contain forums or shout-outs, etc.

Hi,

I am not sure if I need to use "the" before an acronym or a proper noun. For example in the sentence below:

The Special Game Service(SGS) of the system is available. The price of (the) SGS is 5 euros.

Do I need the word "the" in between "of" and "SGS" ? I feel it is very clear even with "the" but i saw some sentences using the infront of a acronym.

I want to say in a word (or as few as possible) that someone takes a gag off of someone else. The victim in the story was tied up and unable to speak, and then their mouth was freed.

Ungags is apparently not a real word. Is there a single word for this action in English? Do people understand what "ungags" means?

I want to home school my children, but all the home schooled kids I have ever met were either a) completely nerdy , b) out of touch with reality or c) nerdy when in home school then got out in the real world and became very rebellious (sex, drugs, etc)

I don't want that to happen with my kids, but I still hate the idea of the normal school system. Have I just had bad encounters with home schooled children, or is this the tendency of most?
