Eample: Meyers's sum use's a apostrophe S but this guy I met said his last name ends in SS so to show possesion he uses just a apostrophe at the in like if you said Guiness' brewery

College graduates, how long before or after graduating did you land your first "real" job?

I have professors who mention students who have jobs waiting for them 6 months before they even graduate, but then I know people who don't start the process until they graduate. I'm graduating in May and I'm trying to get a feel for what's out there, but not applying for anything yet - am I behind?? When ddi you land your first real job or start the job search process in general? Thanks!

Whats a good degree that relates to Sports?

Im currently in college and i've changed my major so many times now, I want to know what degree can i get that relates to sports? I love sports its my passion. I love watching, playing, and even write about sports. What degrees are available that would get me a good job, that pays enough to support myself?

I'm wanted to look into Sports Broadcasting. Would that be a good major to get into?

what core classes do you HAVE to take freshman year of college?

Like in highschool, is there a core number of classes that you need to take your freshman year of college?

I speciffically am looking to go to the University of Illinois-Chicago or Loyola University.

Also, I have three AP classes (AP Literature, AP Gov. and Politics, and AP Physcology) next year (my senior year) i am planning on taking and also taking the AP exam for...so assuming i get college credit for those classes buy getting away with one semster of the class....where does that put me with my core classes....how many more would i have left to take? (in UIC or Loyola or any college in general from your knowledge)

answer algebra problem - edited to make more clear?

apparently I didn't clarify last time what I meant... it is 2 over 5 PLUS 4 over 10x+5 EQUALS 7 over 2x+1 --- sorry for confusion... can someone help me?!?!?!

(2/5) + (4/10x+5) = (7/2x+1) ...solve for X ... show wrk pls so I know what I'm doing wrong!! I think my answer manual was wrong, but not sure... so I need help knowing exactly what to do and how to get the correct answer. Thanks so much!!

Project ideas, or some feedback.?

I'm in college and taking a course called Projects 3in1. For each project that I do, I need to incorportate math, communications, and computers. I can do the project on any topic, and do anything that I wanted to do. It's tough having such a wide range to choose from. My previous project was Career exploration:compare and contrast between two environmental field careers, quite boring to do, but I got a 90%. I want to do something fun. I really want to create a mirror with colored glass around the edges. Something similar to the link I provided. I'm just wondering if it's too highschoolish? I have to pass in the project proposal to my instructor tomorrow. I'm just wondering if this is a stupid idea for a project, or should I do something else? I'd appreciate it if you could give me some ideas for a project. Thanks.

Hmmm i may have something here. And ITS GOOD!?

Okay before i continue let me say this. I dont care for people how this is bad and so on.

Now this is a 'hypothetical' situation:
Lets say my friend, Bob Finkle, went online to see the status of his Financial aid. Upon putting in his SS number, he discovers he is ALSO enrolled into a top 10 university. According to this, this SS is also enrolled into a university he would like to go to. He did a student search on the universities website, and his name didnt show up. This means some one else is just using his SS number.

Now this is ID theft. BUt 'Bob' has a better idea. Instead of calling the school and informing them of this error, would there be any way that Bob could use this to his advantage to getting in?

Since his SS is already in the system, would there be any way to systematically change all the info to his own, so he is now enrolled, or any other ways to use this 'unfortuneate' event to his liking?

Remeber, i dont neeed to hear your complaints. THis is ummmm hypothetical.
