I stated : My daughter Graduated SUMMA _ _ _ LAUDE At her College, ( Which Means, the Highest Honors of Distinction), my concern is, why people don't know what that Title means! I had the middle word bleeped out twice! I am not using it in the wrong context. ( I have witnessed many degrading words spelled out, like the N word, & KKK using demeaning words, but these words were not bleeped out.)
The middle word sounds like BUM, replace the B with a C. Yahoo Answers will not allow me to write out this Honor Title. Maybe this will Educate them.

Okay. Here it is. I have two children in school ages 5 and a half and 8 next month. Should I go above and beyond what the teacher normally gives and make my child do at least an extra 45 minutes of work EACH day (this includes weekends and holidays) or is a normal school day enough? My problem is my son's bio daddy makes him work weekends/holidays and I think it is wearing down the boy. Yes I've told him how I feel. So what does the general PARENTING populis think? Yea, or nay on working 30 to 60 minutes on weekends, including Sundays and Friday nights.

Its from Edgar Allan Poe's "The Philosophy of Composition",

"It is my design to render it manifest that no one point in its composition is referable either to accident or intuition- that the work proceeded step by step, to its completion, with the precision and rigid consequence of a mathematical problem."

I don't blame you if you have no clue what it means, but if you do happen to know, please tell.

I'm 17 (with no credit history, apparently) and I am going to an out of state college in fall- problem is that my parents can't co-sign for a loan because they have bad credit and I can't get federal loans b/c they make too much money.

My sister is also in college, and that is pretty much where all the money is going. So now, here I am, stuck and being left with no loan options for a large investment (about 38,000 the first year)

Some help please?!?!

In my past 7 years of practicing post law school, I have rarely if ever looked back on these materials, yet I feel that discarding them will also be discarding my legal education. I'd like to clear the clutter, but I would hate to one day regret not having the materials to look back on. Keep or toss?

I need 10 about the play (not about characters or the story but things like when it was printed ect.) I can only find seven, they need to be from reliable websites and they need to have more than 1 source.
I'll give best answer to the person who finds the most (and best) facts, not the person who answers the quickest so please either give me a good answer or no answer at all.

The book So B. It by Sarah Weeks leads to a character named Heidi who doesn’t know when her birthday is or who her father is. In fact, the past of Heidi and her mother is a mystery. Heidi lives in an odd lifestyle with her mentally disabled mother and their neighbor Bernadette. Heidi always has luck, and it points her to the right direction, but Heidi wonders more about who she is, where she came from, and why is it only she and her mother. When a mysterious word comes out of her mother’s vocabulary, starts to haunt Heidi, and leads her to Liberty, New York, in search of her mother’s past and most importantly her past.
The main character Heidi shows three main characteristic eager, brave, and smart.
The character Heidi is eager. Even if Heidi doesn’t know her past, she has a lead, and she is eager to find what her mother’s past was about and most importantly her own past. She demonstrates this characteristic when she made a big decision to go out of Nevada to Hilltop home. She wanted to go to find a person named Thurman Hill to get information from an old photo Heidi had found in an old camera. Supposedly the photo was from a Christmas party that her mom was in. Another example of this trait occurs when Heidi made a phone call to Greyhound from a phone booth that was outside, and she found out two important things. One, was that it cost $313 for a round-trip ticket to Liberty to Liberty, New York, and two, she had to be fifteen years or older to travel across the country by herself. Heidi decided to get her money from a slot machine since she knew she had a lot of luck through her life. A quote from the story reveals this trait clearly, “You think I’ll forget about soof and Hilltop and all the rest of it, you want me to forget, but I won’t. If I do, I’ll end up like Mama, full of missing pieces.” Heidi’s drastic plans show how eager she is to find out why her mom keeps saying the word soof, and also what the photograph has to do with the word. And so, Heidi is an eager character.
The character Heidi is brave. When she finds old photographs of her mom at a Christmas party, she’s brave enough to go on a cross-country journey by herself from Nevada to Liberty, New York on a bus. This shows that the character is brave because she has the courage to do something that no twelve years old could do. Heidi had never been to New York and never traveled alone. Heidi said to herself that she would have to go to New York no matter what. This demonstrates that nothing could stop her in search of her past and also her mother’s. And so, Heidi is a brave character.
The character Heidi is smart in unique ways. Even though she’s only twelve years old she’s determined to get to liberty, New York to ask Mr. Hilltop about her mother’s past. She demonstrates this characteristic when she wants money for a bus ticket and she uses her talent in winning that money from a slot machine. Another example of this trait occurs when she wins the money and has to count the quarters so it makes $313. A thought from Heidi reveals this trait clearly, “It was early in the morning and nobody was around to pay attention, so I squat down next to the machine and counted out my winnings. Twelve hundred fifty-six quarters. One dollar more than I needed.” This demonstrates that even if Heidi didn’t have a lot of time to study she was very smart in math. And so, Heidi is a smart character.
Heidi’s eager, brave and smart through out the whole book and that makes her an exciting and hard working character. Heidi expresses emotion in every thing she says and makes the book more interesting than it already is. So B. It is such an amazing and sad book, because there is a lot of suspense going on and heartbreaking moments, and an unforgettable book.
