I stated : My daughter Graduated SUMMA _ _ _ LAUDE At her College, ( Which Means, the Highest Honors of Distinction), my concern is, why people don't know what that Title means! I had the middle word bleeped out twice! I am not using it in the wrong context. ( I have witnessed many degrading words spelled out, like the N word, & KKK using demeaning words, but these words were not bleeped out.)
The middle word sounds like BUM, replace the B with a C. Yahoo Answers will not allow me to write out this Honor Title. Maybe this will Educate them.

This only shows that the program that filters bad words is not working correctly (as it should not filter out words that are in the correct context). This would be a technical bug, and you should report this to the technical people, not complain here because they wouldn't read here.

The number of people using the word in Latin in the context that you use is small, while the number of people who would use that combination letters as English language slang for ejaculation is larger. Unfortunately the program they use to censor obscenities is apparently not sophisticated enough to understand other languages such as Latin.

What dose it matter. Are you more concern with the word or the fact that your daughter is SUMMA---LAUDE and ever one knowing it.
