Reena is 27 1/2 and Seena is 16 1/2.
27 1/2 + 16 1/2 = 44 and 27 1/2 - 16 1/2 = 11; the difference in their ages is 11 years.
When Seena was 5 1/2 then Reena was 5 1/2 + 11 = 16 1/2 and since (5 1/2)*3 = 16 1/2, when Reena was 3 times as old as Seena, she was 16 1/2 and Seena was 5 1/2.
Seena will be 3*(16 1/2) = 49 1/2 when she is 3 times as old as Reena was when she was 3 times as old as Seena.
When Reena's age was half of 49 1/2 she was 24 3/4 and Seena was 24 3/4 - 11 = 13 3/4.
But now Reena is 27 1/2 as we mentioned before, and
(13 3/4)*2 = 27 1/2.

Reena is 30. Seena is 14. Here is how it works out. You have to start with the last sentence and work your way up to the first one. Let's say Seena, at some point in time, was 10 years old. At that time, Reena was 30 years old (Reena is 3 times Seena's age). When Seena gets to be 3 times as old as Reena was, when Seena was 10 years old, Seena will be 30 years old. Half of Seena's age, when Seena is 30, is 15. Reena is twice that age, meaning that Reena is 30. If Reena is 30, Seena must be 14, to equal 44.
Any answer that shows Seena older than Reena is wrong.
