University of Phoenix offers bachelor degrees in two years or less.

Is there something fishy about that?

I've read reviews where people of very low iq's can easily get As at the university.

I am a freshmen. I take the advance algebra, geometry, american world study and ESL this year. My counselor told me, i have to chose the class that i'll take next year before Feb(= =+). And i don't know anything about this.

Yet all that you hear is "Man, you'se ign'rant!", "Y'alls jus' bein' ign'rant!", "I ain' talkin' to you man, you ign'rant, you ign'rant..." CALLING SOMEONE IGNORANT IS NOT AN INSULT. And the ridiculous part is that whenever people use the word ignorant incorrectly they are showing that they themselves are ignorant because they don't even know what the word means! Would it really be insulting to walk up to someone and say, "Yo, you don't know a lot of stuff!" or, "Dude, you're lacking in knowledge!"?

What happened to just calling people stupid or idiotic? At least they were insults. And what's with leaving out the "o" when they say it? It's a three syllable word for crying out loud!

Are teachers no longer doing their jobs or have students just decided that grammar and spelling are no longer important? I never knew that the uses of two, to, and too or they're, there, and their were so hard to master. Furthermore, what happened to the over-worked apostrophe, I find it missing a lot here on YA (notice that "a lot" is two words not one).

I would like to reccomend a copy of The Elements of Style by Strunk & White for all my grammatically challenged friends here on YA. Does anyone else have a favorite book or website relating to proper grammar?
