I am currently a junior living in the northeastern area of the US. My GPA is a 93. SAT - 2150. Likes: math and sciences. Dislikes: humanities. Extracurriculars - math team, president of a minor club, member of three minor clubs. Worked (with pay) for one summer. Possible majors: computer programming (probably), business/economics (maybe). Preferably a college with financial aid. Basically your average clueless high school student.

What are your suggestions?

initially, what is your most judgemental opinion? do you think that they're maybe, uncultured and maybe a country kid? oil rich party kids from texas? new age hippies? techie nerds? or kids who aren't smart enough to go to a more prestigious school, or rich enough to go to a more expensive school?

Im trying to find a loan that I can get to pay for a new laptop, and living expenses for school. The catch is every school loan I apply for I get rejected because I have no credit, and no co-signer. Has anyone in my position found a place that will approve a personal school loan?

I had to retrain due to corporate downsizing and I have a lot of school loans. I don't think I can repay them all before I retire. The UK forgives loans after the age of 65, but I do not know what provisions are available for non-traditional older students here in the states. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Is the word 'toast' (like in bread toast, not speech toast) plural?
I thought it's just 'toast' but my teacher here in Korea told me it's toasts.
Here's the question "Sometimes people have milk, eggs, and _____(toast or toasts) for breakfast."

Wouldn't the answer be toast?

I want to start attending community college to work towards my Liberal Arts degree. For example, to get an A.A. degree it says I must complete English 101 and that it's worth 3 credits. It says that it would be 3 hours. So does that mean I'd have 3 HOURS TOTAL, or 3 hours of class for many many weeks? If it's just ONE block of a 3 hour class it'd be super easy-too easy. That's why I think I must be misunderstood. Hehe. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate your input. Thanks!

I have a autobiography presentation and I have to state the accomplishments of Dave Pelzer both personal and Professional.

Some of the accomplishments that I have so far is probably that he believed in himself even when he was in the worst situation ever that his mother put him into.

I'm in the Denver area and didn't plan this out, but need tp take classes this semester. I figure there's no shot of getting in to a place this late for regular classes (not having applied, etc.) I'm just afraid of the "internet class/correspondence course" stigma. Anyone?

It's my last year of highschool and i needed help with my personal statement for college. So i went to a teacher and she gave me some feedback the following day. Then later i made some corrections and asked her if she could read it for me. She asked me to come aftershcool which i did a few days but unfortunatley i couldn;t find her. So i gave up. Now i think that she is made at me becasue she may think that what i did was rude or something. When she saw me in the hall, i tried to say hi, but i felt like she didn;t wanna look at me, kind of ingnored me....I wanted to make it up by givibg her something for christmas, but it didn;t work and i enede uo not giving her anything, not even a card. Now i feel terrible. Doyou think she is mad at me?
