What is the best carrer to pursue?

I want to be a Chemistry Teacher, but I also want to be a chef and own my own business, wheather it is a resturant or hotel or something. What pays more? How can I find out what I will be the happiest with? I want to go to University of Michigan or a college that is really close (location wise) to it. I am really confused. Please help!
