step 1: to turn your percentages into a 4.0 scale first take the percentage and then multiply it by 4.0 (for example a .98 * 4.0 = 3.92)

step 2: add up all of your points

step 3: divide by the number of classes.

you now have your overall gpa

B = 3
C = 2
D = 1
