It's my last year of highschool and i needed help with my personal statement for college. So i went to a teacher and she gave me some feedback the following day. Then later i made some corrections and asked her if she could read it for me. She asked me to come aftershcool which i did a few days but unfortunatley i couldn;t find her. So i gave up. Now i think that she is made at me becasue she may think that what i did was rude or something. When she saw me in the hall, i tried to say hi, but i felt like she didn;t wanna look at me, kind of ingnored me....I wanted to make it up by givibg her something for christmas, but it didn;t work and i enede uo not giving her anything, not even a card. Now i feel terrible. Doyou think she is mad at me?

well..... of course she is mad at you, But it is neither your fault nor hers. Instead its just a misunderstanding/miscommunication. However, after u couldn't find her after school, u should have cleared things up the NEXT moment u saw her. because u not telling her that, gave her a bad hint. Bad choice.
But, cheer up, girl. The best thing for u to do is go straight to her face. Greet her. Smile at her. Ask her how her new year/xmas went. After that apologize to her for not telling that u could not find her, and be HONEST with her. And clear things up right away. The longer u let this go on, the more she'll gt mad at you. The sooner you clear this up, the more likely it is for her to let of her anger towards you.
hope dat helped.....

No, I don't think your teacher is mad at you. I think she is pretty busy. Sometimes kids are looking for me, but I have a meeting or I am trying to find a student before they leave, or I am checking my mailbox or my phone messages, etc.

Go see her and apologize for not showing up for your last appointment. Tell her that you value her opinion and that you would really like her to look over your essay. Try not to give excuses. Bet it wil work.

Teachers tend to be like that, one of the reasons is because they're busy with alot of things. Teaching is a job so they have alot of things to do.
Go apologize if you felt what you did was maybe the reason?

I really don't think she is mad at you. Teachers can be very busy and pre-occupied just before Christmas - it is a busy time for everyone. Just go find her and explain exactly what happened, and go from there.
