I love foreign languages and it is my strongest subject by far. I need some guidance on which college that will give me the best opportunities for foreign languages. I currently speak English (of course), Spanish, French, and Portuguese.

I'm writing a persuasive paper on the pros of after school jobs. We need three main topics and 2-3 supporting details under each main idea. Here's what I've come up with so far. If you have any other ideas, I'd really appreciate the help.

I thought it was a huge risk going up in front of my class and speaking to them about why they should choose me. I was nervous, but in the end I won the position, and I know now *that that* was the right thing to do.

are you allowed to do that in an essay.. or would it be better to say:

-I was nervous, but in the end I won the position, and I now know that I did the right thing.
-I was nervous, but in the end I won the position. I know now that running for class Treasurer was the right thing to do.

I could go on but i think you get the idea

So, that being written, what are your comments on "that that".
ps. this is a college essay by the way.
