Does anyone go to the University of Akron? What are your thoughts on the school? I keep hearing that it is kind of run down and not very respectable. Is this true? I am a student who wants to study EE

I have few choises.

Imperial - the 3rd best for my course according to Times statistics.
Southampton - the 2nd best
UCL - about the 4th best for my course
Bristol - the 6th best


Not general ranking. The ranks only for my course, Electrical and EElectronic Engineering.

Where shall I go?!

p.s

I am a lot concerned about the ranking of Southampton in general. Is's like 22nd in the general ranking.

So I'm doing this whole research project on popularity, cliques, pressures to fit in, a whole Odd Girl Out kind of paper, looking at popularity from both ends of the spectrum. Within the Yahoo attachments section there is a Mensa quiz

In this you have to work out the phrases based on the numbers in a sentence, e.g.

64 S on a C B = 64 Squares on a Chess Board
60 M in an H = 60 Minutes in an Hour
100 C in a E = 100 Cents in a Euro
18 H on a G C = 18 Holes on a Golf Course.

However there is one I can not work out:

23 P of C in the H B = ?

Any Ideas?

And no it is not 23 Pieces of Chicken in the Half Bucket.

I mean if you're a parent you probably won't be aware of this but those closer to my age will have seen it. :P You know how a LOAD of people TiiPe LiiKe DiZzZZZZZzzZz U nO? Well I've seen a bunch of people posting on here saying that "public school gives children a better education", well... I'm not sure I fully agree with that. I mean, of course, lots of kids might get a better education in there, but let's face it.. I mean look at today's society; most don't. But anyway. Thoughts? And btw I just wanna say that I don't wanna start an argument over whether public school or homeschool is better, as that really isn't what this post is about. But like, most parents don't even KNOW what their kids are doing. :S
