I mean if you're a parent you probably won't be aware of this but those closer to my age will have seen it. :P You know how a LOAD of people TiiPe LiiKe DiZzZZZZZzzZz U nO? Well I've seen a bunch of people posting on here saying that "public school gives children a better education", well... I'm not sure I fully agree with that. I mean, of course, lots of kids might get a better education in there, but let's face it.. I mean look at today's society; most don't. But anyway. Thoughts? And btw I just wanna say that I don't wanna start an argument over whether public school or homeschool is better, as that really isn't what this post is about. But like, most parents don't even KNOW what their kids are doing. :S

Jolly good my man.

I am totally against the usage of incorrect spelling. However, I find it tolerable to say "btw" and "lol" Those are not incorrect spellings, merely handy short cuts, maybe even jargon. Could they be jargon? Can't remember the proper definition of jargon, but maybe they are.

Your goal to be ever vigilant in your written work is admirable and I wish you well in higher education. You will find sympathetic professors I am sure.

I went to public school, and I feel most everything I know (with a few exceptions) I learned on my own. I once wrote a paper comparing public school and home school, and the odds seem to favor home schooling. I don't think going to public school has a huge impact on how well parents know their kids; if they want to be involved, they will be.

Yeah, I've seen it. I try not to let it affect my judgment of what a person says, but when they spell no better than my five year old, I'm hesitant to accept their answer as coming from an intelligent being! ;-)
