I have to come up with a list of ideals that other countries have made for us but aren't true...thus the ideals verses reality of american life.
I have two so far...and have to come up with three.
The two I have come up with are:
America is a glorious country where nobody has financial problems-everyone is rich and happy.
and
America is a glorious country where nobody has to worry about being in danger because it is the safest place to live.

What are some other ideals that are not true when it comes to foreigners coming up with ideals of our American lives?

I am considering moving back to NZ to teach; however my credentials are not from NZ and I have no prior experience with the education system in NZ.
