Help: What people think of American lives that is not true?!?

Question

I have to come up with a list of ideals that other countries have made for us but aren't true...thus the ideals verses reality of american life.
I have two so far...and have to come up with three.
The two I have come up with are:
America is a glorious country where nobody has financial problems-everyone is rich and happy.
and
America is a glorious country where nobody has to worry about being in danger because it is the safest place to live.

What are some other ideals that are not true when it comes to foreigners coming up with ideals of our American lives?

I went to England and France two summers ago. For the most part, everyone I talked to seemed to think that all Americans are filthy rich. They also said they expected us to be either stuck-up(England) or "hilbillies"(France) They seemed to think we were a little too friendly; over there, you may go years without saying "Hi!" to a neighbor.
Some seemed to think that all Amercans are super intelligent(England), while others(in France) thought that we all had mental dissabilities.

When we left, they said that the only real differences were that we had an American accent, and weren't familiar with their monetary and transportation system.

This is my personal experience, and may not be true everywhere. From what I learned people's perspective of Americans differs from place to place.

We all carry guns

Drugs are for sale on every street corner

All American women are shameless

We are all religious nuts

We are ignorant because we only speak one language (not sure I disagree with that one)

We all think of either sex or money at all times

That there is such a thing as an average American.

everyone is perfect
everyone is better then everyone else
no one has no problems
everyone has no problems
everyone has better resorces to things
they can get whatever they want as long as they have money
