I have to chose a book to read from a list and then do a book report. The problem is that all of the books on the list are really really really far below my level. Most of these books are stupid books intended for immature unintelligent boy-obcessed pre-teen girls who are desperate to grow up, like the stupid Princess Diaries. The reason why we have such childish crap to read is because the teachers took a survey of the students favorite books and put the top ten answers as the options. The justification is that they want students to read books that they like. If thats the case then why don't they let us chose our own books. Does anyone have any ideas on how to survive these stupid books?

I don't have anything in particular that I just LOVE to do. I am good with computers, I like kids, I like being in charge rather than taking orders but there is no one thing I am great at. I have put off starting college for long enough but I don't want to start and drop out because I don't know what I want to do. HELP! I want to start some core classes online but I am just not sure what direction to go in. Is there any hope for me....?

I LOVE english!!! Lit is my passion and I want to take english/creative writing courses when I'm in college. I'm not interested in science or math and the only other subject I'm good at is history. I really want to study english but I can't figure out what careers I could do with it, besides being a writer or a teacher, and those aren't very well paying or stable jobs. any ideas?
