The direct object is "the pond." How come the direct object is not also "sunken treasure?"

I took the PSAT as a sophomore (last year) and got a 180, which I believed to be good. I recently heard this was actually a bad score, so I'm now taking preliminary tests to get ready for the PSAT and SAT. My most recent practice PSAT score was 201; is this bad or good?
I want to take the PSAT on the 18th to see if I can qualify for the National Merit Scholarships, and I'm working hard. Plus, I'm taking the SAT in May, and I'd like to be prepared.
