"The Notebook" is a total chick flick, which is why I refused to see it. Give me horror, sci-fi, and fantasy any day. I am the bane of all romantic comedies.
That being said, the only chick flick I ever liked was called "Steel Magnolias." It's a wonderful movie, and you should check it out.

Well, maybe it's not like The Notebook but look for 'Heaven Knows Mr. Allison' (Deborah Kerr & Robert Mitchum).
Return To Me (Mini Driver & David the X-Files guy), Lost in Translation (Scarlett Johanson & Bill Murray), and The Apartment (Shirley Maclaine & Jack Lemmon) are all worth the trouble of finding.
