I just finished my general associates degree and it is now time for me to decide if I want a degree in teaching elementary or high school. I love little kids and I would love to teach math in high school. I do not care for the attitudes of junior high kids so thats not in the picture. So I was just curious if one made more than the other. This obviously will not be my deciding factor but it would be nice to know. Oh and one more thing, teachers do get health insurance, right?

^__^;; I know, I know, I should've gone, but it's a long story.
My school calls the parents to "inform them when their child misses", to prevent what I'm doing. It was going to be fine, except they're going to be calling my Mom's cellphone. (again, long story) /Unfortunatley/ Mom is going to be at work all day -I expected her to come home for lunch- and I won't have a chance to get her cellphone from her. Ideas? Please? Let me take you to a virtual trip to the future. Please do fasten your seat belt, are you ready? OK, let’s explore the Earth in 2050. We are now hovering 500 metres over the land. Can you see millions of millions tiny dots moving around? They are people walking. Are you surprised of the absence of cars and other machinery? They are useless these days since the energy resources had been used up ages and ages ago. And the animals? Where have they gone? Why are the oceans no longer blue? And oil slicks are everywhere. Turn left, can you see the huge pile of rubbish over there? It does not look nice but what else can we do with the rubbish that cannot be recycled? Do not open the window, the air outside is really polluted. Does the world of 2050 scare you? But we all are making contributions so that the world of 2006 looks like this or even worse in 2050. What can anyone of us do in order to save our children and grandchildren from being part of this trip as every day life?

i have to do a speech for my public speaking class. it has to contain three objects. one that represents your past, present, and future. the objects need to be fairly large because it is a class of 30 people i need to speak to. i have an item for all categories except for my future. i plan to be a teacher so i need something that symbolizes that. i don't want to do anything cliche like an apple. also, i work at an elementary school so if i need an object that i can only get there, it can be done. please help me think of an object! also, what can i say to explain the object and why it represents my future!!! thanks!
