I've been doing ok, kind of lol, with these types of equations but not really. I just can't get these two, I'd really appreciate any help. Here they are:

1.) 4x^2+7x-2

2.)16y^2=25

Thank you

thats easy, friend. though ur ques 1 seems to be having typing errors. I have assumed things.

1. 4x^2+7x-2=0
4x^2 +8x - x -2=0
4x(x +2) -1 (x+ 2)=0
(4x -1) (x +2) =0
(4x -1)=0=> 4x=1 => x=1/4;
x+2 =0 => x= -2
or, x= 1/4, -2

2.16y^2=25
(4y)^2 = 5^2
4y = 5
y= 5/4

The first question isn't an equation because there is no equal sign, so I am not sure what you are asking. The second is y = 5/4
