tradegy one: One is not to get your heart's desire.
That means never finding love, that would be a tradegy.

tradegy two: The other is to get it.
That means finding love. Love hurts.

Life is painful when it comes to love.

"There are two tragedies in life. Ones is not to get your heart's desire. The other is to get it."

When we do not get our heart's desire, we are left with regret at what might have been.

Sometimes, however, we get what we want but it is not always what we need or what is best for us.

Someone once said "Be careful what you wish for, you may receive it"

This is like the saying "be careful what u wish for.. you just may get it." sometimes we want something soo much that we turn it into a magical cure or perfect person or unrealistic solution. when we finally get it, we find it comes with its own problems or worse yet we gave up the better thing for a more challenging one. Its is like wanting a puppy to play with and to love u, cuz it can fetch and go to the park and love u for u.Instead of that hamster(squeky). Then when u get the puppy, it uses the bathroom on ur moms new carpet because u were too tired to get up at 7am because u just went to bed at 3am. And when u finally get ready to take it outside you find one of your favorite shoes chewed. And you start thinking about squeky (who u had to give up if you wanted a puppy)who stayed in his cage until u felt like taking him out. The puppy still loves YOU....

Something that people wanted doesn't come to their ways easily, the thing that doesn't come to their ways easily which means something that is out of their reach...as it's out of their reach, so some people just let it go because they think that they will never get it anyway--they don't try to get it at all; don't even want to find the way to get it; don't spend their lives valuably. And as it's out of thier reach, then some people will try so hard to get it, so they spend every minute in their lives to get it without caring about others at all--don't care about people around them, don't take some rest.

Not sure though... :-P

To never get your hearts desire is to leave you sad and lonely for a lifetime. But to get your hearts desire is the preamble to getting your heart broke

How about, comparing with "careful what you pray for you might get it". They mean about the same.

When you don't get something, what happens? it's heartbreaking. When you get what you want the most yuo become arrogant and think you can get anything you want.
