Truth can be defined in a simple terms as a thing that which is true, factual or genuine and agreement with reality. God can be realized by having truth in the heart. Mahatma Gandhi said, " Truth is my God and non-violence is the means to reach Him. Man must always follow the path of truth.

the old analogy of "the truth will set you free" comes in mind.. the definition of truth is various in different culture's...in the US, now days, it may be the best truth available, particularity in politics..

reasons, beliefs, understanding, better judgments, acceptance... only few of what truth underlies... the lining of reality is based on truth or facts. wisdom also is govern by truth, as much as deceit causes windfalls of chaos, delusions and arrogance. how would one identify it? as long as your conviction of what is reality and what balances your fate, you will know...

truth is what you believe, as true and is transient.
