Here is a brief explaination of theories of personlaity...

Usually when we talk about someone's personality, we are talking about what makes that person different from other people, perhaps even unique. Whether a perosn is introverted or extroverted etc. This aspect of personality is called individual differences.
Different psychologists over the years have put forward their own theories about the personality of a human being, These theories describes the psychological behaviour of a human being that distinguishes it from others and thus make its own personality.

I've tried to keep it as simple as possible, and I'm sure that you'll understand it better.

My personality is very complex. Sometimes I think Im Bipolar. I am happy at times, and sad and depressed other times. If you want to come up with theories of personality. try to analyze someone you know, the way they act, good traits bad traits, how do they react to certain situations, or why do they feel happy sometimes, or sad.? You can ask these questions to yourlseve and also analyze someone else's personality you will come up with different theories. Different individuals, depending on their ethnic background, religion, childhood, parents, developed traits from these factors. Take a note of that

one theory of personality is environmental influence. like a ghetto with gangster you may end up talking and acting like them. making your personality. then there is opposite of your surrounding. like me my family are drop outs and druggies, but i went the opposite way. my personality was different from theirs. i am nice, they are mean.
