I know about Calvert, I heard about Robinson...what are some of the other well known Curriculums. I researching write now and am looking for a easy to follow program. I'm new at this and I don't want to waste time this year in putting a curriculum together while my daughter waits around. Maybe after a year of following a homeschool program and getting in to the groove of things, I can make my own for next year.

What's your opinion? Have you heard of the Calvert Curriculum? What is it like? or what are the other curriculums like?

What is that status of a person who has completed the Roman Catholic rituals of Baptism, First Communion, and Confession but not Confirmation. Its important to note that Confirmation was not done at this individuals own request when he was 11 or 12.

So heres what happened. Im at school and I just started 4 weeks ago. Im getting all A's except in Math. In Math, I took a test and I got the score back today....234/400 ouch cause im usually an A or B student. Our homework counts as 10 points and we've had only 3 homework assignments.Thats all weve done so far... Now heres my question. Next week, report cards are being sent out and I dont want my parents to see it because they will kill me. If they do see it I want an excuse I can use then i will type a phony letter saying that it was supposed to be a B or something. One other problem is that I come home from school with a bus at around 3:45 Im home but my parents get home from 2-4. (mail is delivered around 3) but my dad opens the mail and he usualy comes home at 3:30-4. Any ideas? Please Help!
I just started high school and in middle school I didnt do that well so they made me promise I would try harder in school and I did. I told them I would get all A's and B's. Im 13 in 9th grade

You have a farmer he has 3 posessions 1 is his wolf 2 is his goat and the third is his cabbage they come across an ocean and find a boat but the boat only can fit the farmer and 1 of his posessions at a time how would the farmer get all 3 posessions across safely without harm to none of his possesions? (member wolf eats goat and goat eats cabbge and also remember that if you bring one of the possesions over ex. the goat first then the wolf can eat the goat on the other side)

What are your pet peeves in regard to word meanings or useage?

Mine would be "Wherefore art thou, Romeo?" Everyone thinks it means where are you, Romeo? BUT it means she is asking out loud, Why does his name have to be Romeo? Since the name is the whole problem in the relationship.

I just hate when people use that sentence when they are looking for someone or looking for you and put your name in it.

Best answer to someone that helps me out, your answers don't have to right.
Consider this question: What are an average American’s perceptions about Muslim/Arab American and Christian American groups?

Copy each descriptor from the paragraph below and paste it into the table according to how you think an average American would categorize the descriptor. Would each descriptor best apply to Christian Americans only, Muslim and Arab Americans only, or to both groups? In organizing this information, you are conveying what you think most Americans perceive about these groups, so there are no “right” answers. In fact, your table categorizations may be markedly different from what you personally believe is true.

Descriptors

Good neighbors, family oriented, oppressive to women, not oppressive to women, women as homemakers, women who go to work, patriarchal society, modest dress, immodest dress, well educated, undereducated, religious content in education, secular content in education, devout, law abiding, conservative political values, moderate political values, governed by Biblical law, governed by the Qur’an, fanatically religious, religious values perpetuated in politics, religion part of government, male-dominated political environment, political environment open to both sexes, violent, peaceable, socially exclusionary, socially inclusive, socially oppressed, socially compliant, sexist, feminist, strict moral values, moderate moral values, flexible moral values
