You have a farmer he has 3 posessions 1 is his wolf 2 is his goat and the third is his cabbage they come across an ocean and find a boat but the boat only can fit the farmer and 1 of his posessions at a time how would the farmer get all 3 posessions across safely without harm to none of his possesions? (member wolf eats goat and goat eats cabbge and also remember that if you bring one of the possesions over ex. the goat first then the wolf can eat the goat on the other side)

first trip bring the goat over and leave him there while the wolf and the cabbage are back on the other side, return and pick up the cabbage, bring cabbage back to where the goat is, leaving wolf alone, leave cabbage, pick up goat and return to the other side, drop off goat, pick up wolf, bring wolf to the other side leave him with the cabbage, return and pick up goat, go back to the other side and now everyone and everything is on the other side!

The first thing the farmer should probably do is..
Let G= goat
W= wolf
C= cabbage
A= the other side of the ocean
B= the side where the farmer started.
1. bring the G with him crossing the ocean going to Point A,
leaving the C and W on point B.
2 on point B leave the G there and the farmer went back on point
A, and returning to Point B together with the C.
3. on Point B, there is the G the C and the farmer so the G
couldn't eat the C.
4. Bring the goat with him as he is going his way back to point B.
then get the W, and leave the G there, as he going again to
point A.
5. From point A the farmer should go back to point B without bringing any of the C and the W, like it say so the W could'nt eat the C .
6. From Point B the farmer should get the G with him as they travel going to Point A, where the W and the C is waiting for them... AND PRESTO THEY ARE ALL ON POINT A.
its a simple logic...

G= goat C=cabbage W= wolf F= farmer

G&F -------- C&W
G------------- C&W&F
G&W&F---- C
W-------------G&F&C
W&F&C----- G
W&C-------- G&F
W&C&G&F

How did the farmer get W, G + C to the ocean safely? How would the farmer get across the ocean with no space for a motor or oars? Why does the farmer want his possessions across? How's the farmer get permission to use the boat? Why doesn't the wolf just scoff the lot and balls to getting wet?
