I am a freshman and college. So far I've only had 3 black teachers ( all female) out of the 11 classes I've had. It seems like if a black teacher is a minority at a school, some of them try to prove themself more. Does anyone notice this or is this just me? P.S. One of my my black teacher is young, she is real cool.

I know when kids start taking individual classes they have the ability to take "advanced" classes, but that is usually in middle school. Should we move it up sooner, maybe all the way to kindergarten? I was helping in a kindergarten class and noticed that the teacher spent most of the time with kids who didn't know their letters (or how to spell their names) and the kids who could be self sufficent were hardly talked to. Are these kids going to get stagnant if they have to wait for the other kids to catch up?

This is for research paper for my direct marketing class.

I want to prove that there is a market for larger size shoes for trendy young women.

I am a marketing student who models. I am very tall and a size 12 shoe. I go to school with other tall lovelies who have trouble finding shoes they want.

Those lovley ladies count as primary sources but-- I need "already done" research so that I can site my sources on a larger scale. Are there any secondary sources that are sharing this kind of info?

I searched nytimes.com and google and I did not find any relevant articles.

Is there a footwear/ shoe size national trade association or anything like that?

What other sources should I try?

Contact for Intrepid Backpacks (e-mail, phone number, etc.). I feel that a backpack for a 2nd grader should last at least 6 months. They do not carry that many books for the bottom to split out within 30 to 45 day of purchase. Thanks.

I was helping out in a kindergarten class the other day and was suprised that a few of them had no idea how to spell their name. The ones that were able to complete their projects without teacher involvement blew through them and went to play, but the teacher spent all of her time with the kids who didn't know the letter H. I noticed during the time I was there, the self sufficent kids were barely spoken too while the other ones got all the teachers time. Are the kids who seem like they went to preschool going to get stagnant if they have to wait for all the other ones to catch up?
