Dilema. Please help?

Ok here it goes. I have a B. Sc and post graduate degree in business administration-marketing. My current work as a marketing executive doesn't pay much. (I live in Cyprus-European island)
I'm given the opportunity to work as a truck driver, get more money and pay my way through Phd and become a professor which is my final goal.
Shoulsd i become a truck driver? I can handle the job but people say. Truck driver are u insane'. What do u think?

If you were a teacher, would you discourage students from using this site for homework help?

To me it seems like people aren't likely really working at their homework to find the answer and probably just come home and type their homework on this site and let others do the work. Personally, when I answer homework questions (especially Math) I try to tell a person how to do it, rather than giving them the answer.

Significant figures!?

Two atoms in a molecule are 120 picometers apart. What is the distance in nanometers? 1 meter = 10^12 picometers. 1 meter = 10^9 nanometers. I got .12 but it says I have the wrong number of significant figures. Any help? Thanks :)

Why is it that some people say " I wouldn't be caught dead....." doing something? For instance " I wouldn't be caught dead (here or doing this)".Why don't we say " i wouldn't be caught ALIVE......."?
