Not sure but I hear the majority of high school drop outs are during Sophomore year (ages 14-15). You should think again before dropping out though. [if this question is related to your problem] Other people graduate YOU can too!

It varies by state and you didn't mention which state you were interested in. High school drop-outs have a 50% unemployment rate last time I looked.

High school can be frustrating because you have a limited number of courses and the teachers aren't as capable as college professors.

A better plan is to visit your local community college and see if there is anything you'd like to study there. If so don't drop out of high school, simply register in your district as a homeschooler and go take courses at the community college if they approve the plan. Our local community college will let my homeschooled middle schooler take courses there. I had him take all of the entrance exams, so perhaps your college will allow you to study there.

It's 16 I believe, my brother dropped out when he was 16. But I wouldn't suggest dropping out or else you'll end up like him, 27, living at home with no job and no life. Just stick it out. If you do drop out make sure to get a job.

DONT DO IT! finish your high school education or youll be lucky to get anything that pays higher than minimum wage.

if you think school is a waste of time, you'll definitely change your mind after slaving over some worthless menial service job for $5.50 an hour.
