It is one thing to help someone discover how to do a problem, but is it really beneficial to just tell kids the answers over and over? The way many of these questions are worded, I get the feeling they just don't want to expend any effort.

What's really depressing is some of the questions are so easily found on the internet, which they have access too obviously, but they STILL come here and ask.

I currently have degrees in Political Science and Economics, with minors in sociology and psychology. I took an acclerated Calculus course this summer and had a great time, and did amazing. I took the class so i would be better prepared for getting a masters in Econ. Now i am interested in getting a degree in Math before going to grad school.

Is this a good idea? or a waste of time?

I see myself taking out thousands of dollars in student loans, studying fields that I do enjoy but...I keep asking myself what will I do with it? I have anxiety and occasionary suffer from bouts of depression which just add fuel to the fire. Any advice?
