Honey, I hope to god you would at least be able to name off the top of your head something Thomas Jefferson did. If not, you need to pay more attention in class. Thomas Jefferson was a great man, and you need to look up information about his life on your own, for your own good. No help here. Sorry.

Thomas Jefferson wanted to be remembered for three things - this was put on his tombstone:
author of the Declaration of American Independence, of the Statute of Virginia for religious freedom, and Father of the University of Virginia
that is all he wanted put on there - but he did many other things
he was the govenor of Virginia, U.S. Minister to France, secretary of state under George Washington, vice president to John Adams, and President.

I visited Montecello and it was amazing (his home)
He brought plants from all around the world and introduced them to the United States... such as tomotoes!
He invented things like a clock that kept up with the days and moon phases.
He kept very acurate records of his daily life and expenditures.. he was a human computer!
The man was a genius!
