Simple.
If I have to do some research, or I think some extra details can be useful and I hunt for a resource, then I include in the sources, especially if it is a link to the document online.
If it's a book, then I will mention the title and author in the main text itself. It's less immediately useful to someone online.
Else if I just think about it, then I put nothing.
Like in this case, I did no research, referred to no source, so the sources is blank.

I leave it blank unless I have had to use a website to access the information, in which case I put the web address I used in there. It helps the questioner to check it before awarding the 10 points.

I have only ever put sources in once and that when the answer required them. Other than that I don't normally bother.
