Maybe take some personality or career tests to help you find out what you are passionate about or good at. If you know what you want to do but it sounds outrageous and you are holding back because you think it is an unrealistic goal, try to think of ways to make it possible. It sounds like you are worried that you will get a degree but will not have a job after school. If this is the case, try to get a stable job so that you will have money even if you career doesn't pan out right out of college. Also, look into scholarships and grants to help pay for college. Try to figure out what you are most afraid of and then take steps to prevent the worst case scenario. Also, talk to someone about this. There are so many people going through this and they can help you through it. Also, older adults can provide insight. I am a college student as well and have similar worries about the future. This is normal to feel this way. However, if the anxiety and depression start to become debilitating, see a professional about it, they can help you immensely. Good luck to you!

Then get a job and forget about college. No sense in stressing yourself out over schooling if you don't really know what you want to do.
However, keep in mind any college degree will make you more marketable to employers, even if you don't really know what you want to do. Busniess or finance is a great way to go. Medicine is always in demand as well. Computers are the rage of the day, so if you are into that, you could give it a try. Education is also in demand, especially in the areas of English and math.

Wow, relax! if it's stress you that much, get a job, save or go through continuing education.
otherwise, do some research on career you want and go for it. if you ain at university degree but finance is an issue, think of going the college route. At SAIT polytechnic (Calgary) for example, you can get a diploma in 2 years and continue into uni degree or professional designation with no extra study time. it means that if things get to expensive after 2 years, you can get a job abd still have a diploma to show for and still continue into a degree part time or later!

I think you just have to kind of "go with the flow". I also had difficulty choosing a career/major. So, I just chose a major that I enjoyed and was successful at and now I am working to complete my major. Once I complete it, I'll worry about what job I'm going to do. Amazingly, most people never end up having a job directly related to their major. You just need to finish school and take what comes to you at the end of your education. Don't worry about it, just worry about school and getting a degree. Good luck :)

you're saying that you ARE taking classes that you enjoy? im not sure if you can do this at your school, but i've heard that some colleges let you make your own major, as long as you propose it. why don't you take all that you like and combine it somehow? im not that sure about the details but maybe this will help. good luck!

Set your goal in life first... or your priorities. From there, work backward to defining how you are going to get there. Your education will be part of those methods you identify. From there, you'll be able to define what line of educational expertise to pursue.
Education is not an end... but one of the means.

First, Take classes that you are interested. From there you will be able to find out what you want to do and what you want to study. Maybe do some internships that interests you. If you take classes and do things that you want to do and that you are interested, then gradually, you will be able to find out what you want to do. It took me 4 years of hs to figure it out what i want to be and to study in college; political urban media studies (combine three majors into one course)
