I just took an online test and the result made me worried. It said i scored a 122. I'm 18 years old and i have a.d.d. for what its worth. I find that score incredibly mediocre. I'm an aspiring lawyer and i don't know if an iq of 122 will suffice. Can i.q. be raised a couple of points, if possible? Can i compensate through hard work to become a prominent lawyer? I'm not trying to blame the dismal score of 122 on my a.d.d., but do you think that was a contributing factor to it? I don't want to dumb, please help console me with encouraging advice.

when you take an 2 hours exam of academic writing, which method is better (see below) and works efficiently? Please give me advice. thanks

1. Write a draft (including argument, answer questions, providing exact evidence, etc.) then revise them from begin to the end;

2. Write only an outline ,then revise extensively, one time to complete .

For people who have taught at both locations, what are some of the differences and pros/cons about teaching at a community college and teaching at a high school?

I've taught English and Humanities at community colleges, and I currently teach elementary school music at a private school. But I've never taught English at the HS level and want to know its ups and downs.

Thanks!

OK, here's the deal. I went to a very good (yes, Ivy League) university & was pursuing a graduate degree. The thing is, I just hated it & I wasn't happy at all & I was so bored. I gained a lot of weight also during this time.

So, recently I have lost the weight & for the first time in a long time I feel really great. I adore clothes & anything artistic really & I would love to be a model of some kind (print, catalog, not runway because I'm far too old obviously!). I also love to travel so I would like a career that doesn't hold me to one spot.

Money wise, I own my home, car, and I don't have any bills to pay. I am by no means rich but I don't really have to work. Am I crazy for pursuing this dream?

My boyfriend is a bit of a snob & thinks someone w/ my education should do something more intellectual, but I've done that, and I had no passion for it. So...

What do you think? thank you!

The Texts do not have to be Islamic as long as they are a good solid academic program. We have a brand new homeschooling program for an exceptional group of students who often are far beyond grade level. I have found the web sites to lack information and the manufactures rarely give anything more than a quick description. Does anyone know where we can get good information on text.

As a secondary educator...I've seen the written language go downhill in answers to questions from my students...The spelling is terrible/too many computer abbreviations/poor handwritting/lack of sentence structure or flow of thoughts....etc..Do others feel the same way or if you are an employer: Do you see this same lack of command of the written language hindering your employees and your productivity?
I'm curious and hope others have noticed the same things.....or am I being picky.....

I was looking at what part time courses were available when i came across this one, it must be a serious course because it costs £270 and you would study for 5hours a week for 31 weeks.
I'm really curious what it is and everyone i've asked has no idea....
someone must be able to put me out of my misery??
