i live in california and i passed the exit exam plus i got b's and c's in all of my classes i am now a senior but i am still in algebra because its too hard for me, and the school says that if i dont pass algebra and geometry i wont get a high school diploma does anyone think this is complete bull, ive been going to school for 3 yaers now and have perfect attendance so was the past 3 years a waste of time if i cant prove to people that i learned a lot of stuff like history science etc....?. because without a diploma i have no proof besides what was the point of passing the exit exam if it doesent prove that i know what i need to know too graduate what are your thoughts about one class deciding wether one graduates or not regardless of his or her accomplishements in other classes and subjects?

and i have another question would i still be able to walk across stage with my friends and make my afmily feel proud and all that if i get a GED instead of a high school diploma i can always go to college or night school to finish up the credits i need to get a diploma or ged but i want to wear the gown and cap and walk up the stage and shake hands and all that with the rest of my friends cause all my cousins have pictures of their graduation and i dont want to be the only one in my family to not graduate. i dont care if they give me a piece of computer paper as long as i can walk on stage and all that and graduate.
like i said earlier i can always finnish up my credits somwhere alse but i wont get another chance to graduate with my calssmates
