A bit of a play on here today, gone tomorrow but could be quite a theme for people to identify with if you are addressing them as a group. You could focus your platform on being among the people today but will not disappoint them in delivering on your promises in the future.
You could simultaneously sell your message as meaning that while all students were at school now they would all be assured of the opportunity to shine in their chosen careers by building on the foundations of an educational outcome that you were willing to fight steadfastly to achieve on their behalf.

Is it for an office or just the council in general? You will probably get many answers about hands on with Brandon and put the brandon brand in your school council. I just can't help with more info.
