all i remember about education was the school made us take a lot of courses we were not interested in (math, english, social studies...) and everything prior to middle school was a lot of drawing
shouldn't school make it mandatory for us to take courses like survival skills (like if you're stranded on an island what can you do to survive), and courses like first aid, how to deal with hazradous situations...
instead we have to pay for these lessons in colleges where they offer it

My friend just graduated with a masters degree in elementary education and he's looking for a teaching job. He's only licensed in the state of MA for right now. But I was wondering if anyone has any kind of advice for someone just starting out in the teaching world? He's sent tons of letters and resumes and applications out and has only heard back from one school district. Any advice or any leads I could pass on to him would be greatly appreciated.

I was reading an article on Yahoo about a boy who got perfect scores on the SAT and ACT. They went on to say that only about 30 people a year get perfect scores on the SAT, which surprised me because I thought perfect scores where pretty common. I got a perfect score on the verbal section (I took the old 1600 version) and I wanted to know how common it is to get a perfect score on either the verbal or the math portion.

Those teachers that won't be friends with students in my opinion are terrible teachers and don't deserve to teach. The college they went to disgusts me, since they passed them.

Jamie is not a boyfriend. Both he and I are too young for a relationship. We are both 13 yrs old. Nevertheless, Im falling in love with him. He feels the same way about me and has expressed that he loves me. I met him through day camp this summer and I started to tutor him for money. He's in Special Education. He's the sweetest most innocent boy you could imagine. He's tall and thin but extremely strong because he exercises constantly, with the face of an angel. He's gentle and kind and is incesscently teased by other boys. They call him sissy, gay, etc. He never reacts to the teasing in a physical way. The only time he hurt another boy was one time in day camp the kids were teasing me about how "uncool" it was for me to be with a retard and I must be a "retard" too. I told them to stop and they continued teasing me. Than Jamie took action and hit the head boy and threw him into a fence. He got suspended for that from camp and grounded by his mom. I love him.

I have to make a "snap rap" for the continent of Asia and it has to include one sea, one mountain range, one mountain peak, two major rivers, one desert, one peninsula, one plain or plateau, and one more thing like a city or something. If you can think of anything, I'd really appreciate it. I'm making up credits over the internet and I have to have them done in like 2 weeks and I can't think of anything for this snap rap deal. Thank you so much if you do help me out here.
