This is for history class, I'm a bit lost- I know she's a French poet, and she's the first french woman to have a living of writing. But anyone know anything else about her? This is a game where you get 4 numbers

(Per the game - any given 4 numbers are suppose to equal 24).

They have to equal 24 by adding (+), minusing ( - ), Multiplying ( * ), or dividing ( / )

I'm stuck on 8, 9, 10, 11

I can not get them to equal 24... I've been working on it for 3 days now.. Can anyone out there help me find the answer ?

On my last French lesson, my tutor didn't turn up. I waited for about 30mins then rang him the mobile his phone was switched off so I left a message and until today which been 1 week now. I have been researching but would still like to get advice from the public. I'm a student from Singapore and I really want to emigrate to another country. America and Australia are the best choices I have since I heard from my uncle that the Europeans are generally racists against Asians though not obviously.which I want to study and live in that country for a long time so I can't afford to regret my decision. My plan is this: emigrate in about 2-5 years time (hopefully 2 years), then university and settle down there.
I need help and advise in which country to choose, if so, then which city and also, reasons whether economically or socially.
