My son has developmental delays. We are not rich but not destitute either. My son is 1 1/2 and my daughter is 3. The therapist team is pressuring me to put my daughter in a program for "at risk" kids for a full 5 day per week preschool program where they put them on buses. I can't believe they are recommending this when we do not have any of the qualifications for this program except that we are on a lower income bracket. I don't want my child "flagged" when she goes to school as a child with potential problems when she doesn't have anything wrong with her and she's advanced developmentally. Just because her brother has delays - WOW - do I have the right to pick and choose the services I want without being treated like a second rate parent if I don't follow all of the early interventions recommendations? What right do they have to determine that we are an "at risk" family because we're not as rich as they are? This makes me mad - poor people are good people who love their kids too!

My daughter is at school with a child who continously has nits!! i appreciate the fact that young children get nits...but if one indivdual is not treated then everybody catches them again!!
My daughter is now going back in sept for 3 weeks with this one child until 10 more join the class, therfore as she is a very intense and affectionate child always hugging my child it will be inevitable my daughter will catch them, and even if i treat them within days they'll be back again.
i have had vairous advice off people, not to disscuss with childs mother as she is quite firey and school will then side with them! i am thinking of sending a diary of events to the school i.e parties the child has attended crawling in nits, and passing them on to others, and suggest that school should address this problem as there are 27 other pupils to consider here! i feel very strongly about this matter and if need be until the other girls join her class 3 weeks can i teach her at home?any legal advice

We all know what pleasure is, but would u know how to define the "PERFECT PLEASURE"?

I have a definition: "The perfect pleasure is the one that is absolutely exquisite, but at the same time, doesn't fulfill you (doesn't give u satisfaction)". A bit like a cigarette isn't it ? ....

I have been having an ongoing argument with a few friends about whether or not it is correct to say "nevermind" as one word in writing. Microsoft Word does not consider the one-word form to be incorrect, and yet dictionary.com does not have it listed. Of all the people I've asked, only about fifty percent have said that the one-word form is incorrect. Is "never mind" really the only correct way to say it?
