If it is correct to say SIT SAT SITTING Is it correct to say FIT FAT FITTING. I dont know if FAT is the right word as in "I once fat in those pants and now I look fat in those pants.".
If anyone knows please let me know it been bugging me

No, it is not correct. "Sit" is an irregular verb and its past tense ("sat") is different from the normal past tense, which adds -ed.

"Fit" is actually also an irregular verb. The past tense of "fit" is also "fit." "I once fit in those pants."

For reference, a regular verb like "jump" goes "JUMP JUMPED JUMPING."

Nope.
I fit in my pants.
I used to fit in those pants.
I will be fitting into those pants again after I get my butt off the couch, put down the Dorito's, and get to the gym...lol

Fit, Fitting, or Fitted

It is a perfect fit.

It is fitting process that I hate, when buying clothes.

I am being fitted for a new suit.

"fat" is wrong in the sense in which you want to use it, the correct word is "fitted"
