I am going to homeschool my daughter this upcoming school year--she wil be in Kindergarten. I am trying to figure out what is going to work for us and am interested in finding out exactly unschooling is--I don't think that I quite grasp the concept and would love to hear how it works and what the negatives are.

I don't want to hear that home schooling is bad and she won't have socialization--she is activaly involved in all kinds of activities and has lots of friends that she interacts with every week and has been in preschool until very recently. I have actually been home schooling her since birth and she is an extremely bright child which is the exact reason that I am not putting her in public school--After 2 weeks of being at a private school that goes to 3rd grade she was moved up to the kindergarten/1st grade class and was doing very well academically--but the school has some issues that I was not happy with and we could not reach an agreement so I pulled her out of there.

I'm not looking for a synonym. I'm just wondering if a female wizard has her own term or if she would simply be called a wizard. (I have a female co-worker who does her job very quickly, and I'm want to know how to describe her.) Thanks in advance.

I already have my bachelors degree in education. This year is me second year of being and teacher. My first year of teaching was very tough, I had kids that didnt show up to school, parents that cared less about their kids education, and a shitty school district that didnt do much. I choose to be a teacher to make a difference in a child life. But sometimes, it gets real hard. There are times when I was driving home from work crying because everything just mounted so much. Now that the school year is about to start again, I'm planning on trying teaching again. But if it gets to be to much, should I go back to school for a different major?

I just read an article about cheating and was curious. Last year at school the older kids would go to the bathroom and text the answers to the other class. They were actually being busted for something entirely different when they gave this away. a duh.
