I am going to take this dumb test soon. I have to get a high score to get into an above average college.I need some help.

know your math formulas (algebra, geometry, basic trig), and KNOW your vocabulary words, and how to use them.
I know there's a writing section, but that's long before my times, so I'm no help there.
but don't worry about getting a perfect score. just do the best you can. I think a 1900 or 2000 (on the new scoring system) will get you into most honors programs at colleges. I know a 1300 got auto-admission into the university and into the honors program 4 years ago.

Do a lot of practice tests, there's different SAT prep. books out there & there's some websites (Some are free!) that give advice & practice tests. I wish I had the link for the one site, but I don't have it saved on this computer.

wear a neck brace! I was in a wreck and took my test in a neck brace... i couldn't even see. I made and almost perfect score. You can get sat act books that you can get practice tests from if you decide against the humiliation of the neck brace!
