I am from india and just finished my graduation in commerce.I have scored 65% marks aggregate.In India 65% is treated as a first class.can u plz tell me whether my degree is treated as a first or upper second class degree in the UK.I dont hav a honours degree.

Dont worry dude.. It is a good score, u can do an MBA or MSc degree in management field.. U have lots of people coming from london to ask for admissions.. The british council is in need of foreigners and especially indians.. Try getting a 7+ band in IELTS and thats it ure done... U will need 8000 - 9000 Pounds for the admission and then u will be able to do it easily.. Even getting UK visa is as tough as US visas... Just IELTS and money is enough to get into UK.... they dont see ur UG scores....

It will depend on the university you went to in India and the university you want to go to in the UK. I suggest you approach the university you would like to go to and ask what they think. They all have web sites and you should email the admissions officer. Hope this helps. Ignore the ignorant remarks many people from India come to Britain with excellent degrees.

the university will want to see an english translation of the modules that you completed to see if they are comparable with a British degree. then it will be assessed

well in the uk thier literacy rate is 99% america 97% but i don't know about india sorry could be a bit lower in britain so i don't know i've learnt that in global inequality
