find something to laugh at. When I would be home alone when i was younger I used to yell out something like 'I hear you, get out of the house now'. Because I knew that no one was home so there was no one there to overhear me and think it was stupid to yell threats out to the empty house. Later I was able to laugh at myself for being scared, and laughing always is what actually helps.

Suggestions:

Keep a Night Light on in the hallway or areas up to the bathroom ( just in case you get up at night )

Keep the radio on ( set it to either the news or soft music )

Before going to sleep, do a walk around the house. Check everything that you think you might be scared of.

The fear you have is of the unknown and unfamiliar...combination with silence and darkness, imaginations have a tendency to play

I don't think this is a Trivia question.

Every time you think of the boogiemonsters, just think about the Golden Gate Bridge or Barney or the Eiffel Tower or your work or a situation where you had a good laugh. It is proven that the mind cannot focus on two things at once.

Peace.

First you have to realize that there is nothing that can hurt you because your in safe little house. So you think of your house as a fortress or something like a place that nobody can't get in only by your say so. And if that does'nt work then you have to realize that there is somebody watching you somebody who is bigger than anything that you think can harm you or come against you and his name is God. God always gots your back and he always wants to protect his people because thats his nature. So do not worry cause God is always there even If you dont want him to be always watching out for you and always having your back
