It is an optical illusion. It just seems as if your car is going uphill on its own. There is one in Moncton, New Brunswick and another in Burlington, Ontario. Today the site in Moncton places more emphasis on the zoo than on the hill.

A magnetic hill is an optical illusion. Due to surrounding topography, it looks like you're stopping your car at the bottom of a hill and when you take your foot off the brake with the car in neutral, your car is "mysteriously" pulled up the hill, hence the hill is "magnetic". In actual fact, you are stopping at the top of the hill and coasting downhill.

Leech's (although short) return to the communicate board publicizes dying Magnetic to be a return to the classic Metallica sound (or a forthright attempt) my very own admired, via far, is broken, Beat & Scarred
