please answer in the most logical and natural way, this will help kids to understand how older people answer a simple question in many different ways.... Thanks.

PS. if you feel like fixing the question, please do so. I did, because it seams improper to me... but this is the original Q.

I got myself an acoustic guitar and been trying it for about 6 weeks. I like it and my fingers are killing me :) Still, after 6 weeks, I still find it hard to quickly get the 'G' and 'D' chords, 2 of the most popular chords.

Pink Floyd's "Wish you were here" seems so easy, but I can't play it fast enough and get clear notes.

How long does it take to be good with an acoustic guitar? is it possible to teach yourself or you absolutely need technical advice from a teacher/professional?

FYI, I'm 38 and the guitar is worth about $130.

I have been looking into TESL certifcation courses as I would like to relocated to Japan for a year (maybe more) to teach English. I have read though that in order to qualify for a work Visa in Japan I would need a college degree, which I do NOT have. Any ideas?
