I'm looking to transfer to FIT in NYC very soon. Since I have just moved to the U.S. I was hoping to meet and get to know students from this school. I would like to know what I'm getting myself into going to FIT. Would really appreciate if somebody is willing to exchange e-mail adresses with me and tell me more about the school from an insider perspective and a student with one of these major mentioned in the title. Does anyone ever wonder why we spend so much of our life studying in school for things that we never get to use in real life anyway? Like Mathematics (real life we only need to know how to add and substract), histroy, geography, art, music???

What would i have to do to officialy make a new word, so that in the new dictionaries it would be there, and people would use it, once it got on a public scene. The word i am talking about is, "jaclycit"...i came up with it a few months ago, it means- For instance if you call someone jaclycit, you are saying that they are acting somewhat parinoid while in a state of trying to identify themselves. I'm guessing it would be used for young ones, who are confused of who they are, whether its their orientation or something else. When i started this word, I used it alot, and now it is actually commonly used among my friends.

jaclysm-a state of time in which one identifies oneself.
jacylcit-a way of acting while someone is identifying themselves
...and so on and so forth

I mean no humor when i bring this up, i really want to know. Of course there's more to the word that comes with using it and understanding it better, but that will come in time.
So what would i have 2 do?
