to put a loved one in a state home..Because they were not a nurse and could not afford to care for him at home....plus it was upsetting their family...ok..then they get criticized for it???? I mean what if they were in my shoes??? what can i say back if i am confronted about it???

Then tell those who criticize you to go get the individual from the state home and try caring for the person themselves. It's easy to be an armchair critic, but not so easy when you're the one out of the chair and doing the work.

You can only do what is allowed money wise, if you can take care of them and you send them off becauseits upsetting then are wrong. Imagine how the sick person feels and how upset they are that theyre family just pushes them onto somone else because they are sick. If you ant afford it then it is a different story. But i am not in your situation so do what you want and if someone comfronts you then tell them if it was their buisness then you would ask for their opinion.

Family comes 1st, and if you doing whats right for your family then thiers nothing wrong.

but they are not in your shoes.... so they won't understand.
