What did she do to get over it and move on???

I would say she never got over it,just leaned to cope with the pain.one thing is for sure she didn't do it,she would have said so on her death bed,poor women was given 2 hard blows,no one would want,and all the money didn't help at all.I wounder if her last dying thoughts,she felt she would see her daughter again and know who did it,I hope she will send messages back to help the crime be solved

My mother has seen 3 of her children die. We talked about it today about how I truly don't know how she survived or remained sane.
She told me that you just have to go on because there's nothing more you can do. And if you have other children, they need you.
I would imagine Patsy felt the same. She had a son also and then of course she had her own horrible disease to deal with until she died.

It seems like this would be something that's impossible for a parent to get over. Probably the best she could do is cope with the grief. Added to that was her fight with ovarian cancer, which probably consumed a lot of her energy.
