Yesterday was my first day of college. So i found out yesterday i will be needing a computer because 70% of our work is done on a program loaded on your computer. I support myself meaning i pay all my bills, no outside help and now im struggling with trying to pay for school. Someone told me i could look into programs where they have free computers for college students, if any one have sources, links, or information about how i could go about getting a free computer for a college student, please help me.

I have a 3.8 GPA, on the tennis team, member of Jr. Beta, Honor Student, won 2nd in my local spelling bee, have exceptional grades in Science and English, In AP Literature, AP Science, Algebra 2, EAST Lab, Second year Choir, Third Year band, an IQ of 118, Drama Club, Science Club, and on basketball team. any really good websites where you can find loads of well-presented and easy to understand info about South Africa's history and apartheid. I've got to write about the tuning points in Nelson Mandela's life and am finding it hard to get and good stuff about him.

I'm not asking anyone to write the essay for me but any help on where to look on the internetwould be greatly apreciated.( I can only find long winded biographies with lots of long words.)

1. There are 20 questions in a mathematical test. 7 marks are awarded for each question answered incorrect. No mark is given for each question left unanswered.
If a pupil scores 100 marks what is the no. of questions he left unanswered.

2. In a party three types of bottled drinks-mineral water, coca-cola and fresh orange juice were served.
A bottle of mineral water is to be shared by 2 people.
A bottle of fresh juice is to be shared by 4 people.
Give that 91 bottles of drink were consumed and that each person had consumed 1 share of each type of drive find the total number of people present at the party.

Please find the answer and tell as possible as you can!

I am having a problem with my school, which is cuny. I am under verification from pell, as they claim, but when i called pell I was under no such list. Anyway. I filled out a paper with my family showing how much assets we have. According to our taxes, we make an x amount of income on bank interest. We put in on the sheet that we make an estimate of how much we have. When we turned it in, they claimed we have much much more, no where even near what we really have. Now they are asking for bank statements or else I wont get financial aid. Are they allowed to ask for this? I went to another cuny school before and they asked for no such thing. I spoke to a represenative and they said that each school has its own policy. I tried to fight them but they are not budging. Can I have some advice?
